Makeover Monday | Cabin Inspiration

Hello everyone!
I thought it would be fun to switch up the Makeover Monday posts for July.
Instead of posting updates of our house I am going to post updates for my family cabin.
Our cabin is almost thirty years old and has not changed much over the years.
In the long run we would like to make some big changes like adding an addition and remodeling the kitchen.
Until then I thought it would be nice to spruce up our current rooms.

Kitchen
I love the idea of painting kitchen cabinets to add a pop of color.
I am obsessed with this sage green color and think it pairs perfectly with wood.
I also think that a light gray would be a more subtle option.

Family Room
I am a big fan of tan leather couches but they don't really fit in with the decor of our house.
But they do fit in at the cabin...
I would love to get a large tan leather couch for the family room at the cabin.
Add in some fun tribal print pillows and I think it is a perfect match.

Bedrooms
One day when we add the addition to the cabin we will have our own bedrooms.
I have already started thinking of how I would like to design our room.
I love the idea of statement walls.
Paint or stain an accent wall, or through up a wall tapestry to add some color to the otherwise brown room.

I have so many more ideas for the cabin!
These are a few that I think will be cheap and easy but still will make a big impact.
What are some trends you are currently loving?
